Resilience

Lord speak and this speck will rise from the grave
There won't be anymore shackles for me, I am free
Lord plant me as that tree
by the river of the living waters that's pure as gold
My Life, pour out your blessings and let me bathe
Gracefully speaking from this humble soul
You called Lazarus out the cave wrapped in grave clothes
The devil celebrated too early his victory was exposed
My hope belongs to you my eternity
Lord you be my eyes when I can't see
My vision is limited in the things I don't know
Water me thoroughly and let my faith grow
I know you are the life in me
There is beauty in your voice
There's always beauty in your choice
Even though we don't always believe
But I know there's no evil thing
that can come near my dwelling
as long as I am in thee
The strength of your word I choose to receive
I've been treading in this water,
It's threatening to come above my neck
But Lord you are my wings
And I know on your holy mountain I shall sit and sing
Hold me in the pavilion of your hand
No trespassing you devils
My body is God's land
Lord I can only stand on the covenant of your words
And in them I find my courage
I know there's no approaching you
without childlike faith
But the shadows of doubt trying to keep me bound
Them! I'll fearlessly debate! My Lord, this I will do
I was lost but now I've been found
I'm just a branch broken
But make my roots new in you
Praise you forever my King with your glorious crown
